Projects

Novalux Solar has installed Solar PV systems for a variety of different businesses and industries from 50kWp to MW+. See some of our recent installs below.

Solar PV for Poultry Sheds

271kWp Solar PV system.

Moonrakers Farm had six poultry sheds which the owner wanted to utilise to generate electricity and a new income stream by exporting under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Novalux Solar organised a grid connection upgrade, and a 200KVa pole mounted transformer was installed to take the extra power generated and connect to the grid.

Solar PV for Twinings

1.25MWp roof mounted Solar PV system.

After a rigorous tender process, Novalux was awarded a solar contract for Twinings, part of ABF Group PLC.

Novalux installed high quality equipment with best in class fire protection and monitoring systems that included Solar Edge Optimisers and Inverters and JA Solar PV Panels.

The scene includes nearby roads, parking lots, and scattered vehicles, with a sprawling industrial area in the background.

Solar PV for a large hotel chain

Roof mount Solar PV systems are currently being installed on a rollout of sites across the UK. The hotel chains system sizes vary between 50 -150kWp.

The systems will help the group to achieve sustainability targets whilst making electricity savings at each site.

Solar PV for a furniture chain

A 50kW solar PV roof mount system was installed with further rollout required across the group from 50- 275kWp. The system provides power for one of their retail outlets and exports surplus electricity back to the grid.

The business chose to convert to renewable energy through Solar PV due to the strong long term yields produced for the business in addition to helping with their carbon reduction plan.

Several cars are parked on either side of the building, and construction equipment is located near one corner of the roof. The surroundings include other buildings and a parking lot.

Solar PV for a drinks distributor

88kWp roof mount system installed for the largest private drinks distributor in the UK. Novalux Solar is currently assessing 12 other sites within the portfolio.

The technology Novalux Solar installed will enable substantial savings on electricity costs whilst providing an additional income stream due to the excess energy produced.
