Can I add a battery without replacing my solar panels or inverter?

What size battery do I need?

What is the payback period?

Qualifying plant typically attracts up to 100% year-one relief through the £1m Annual Investment Allowance, and the equipment is exempt from business rates until 2035. There is no live UK-wide grant for commercial battery storage — your accountant confirms the treatment, and our proposals itemise the equipment so they can.
Can I add a battery with no upfront cost?
Yes. Power Purchase Agreements, rental and hire purchase up to 10 years all run with £0 upfront. Under a PPA the provider owns, maintains and insures the system and you buy the power at an agreed rate.
Do you handle the DNO application?
Yes. G98, G99 and G100 notifications, export limitation and protection relay requirements are all handled by our team as part of the project — you do not deal with the network operator.
