Fleet charging
Fleet charging that never touches peak rates.
Vehicles come back, plug in, and wait. With Nova AI+ managing the schedule, charging shifts automatically into overnight windows and your own stored solar — full batteries by morning, without the peak-rate import that makes fleet electrification expensive.
What we design
Chargers, carports and the system behind them.
Workplace & fleet charge points.
AC and DC charging sized to how your vehicles actually operate — dwell times, shift patterns, daily mileage — not a catalogue spec.
Solar carports.
Panels as the canopy over parking you already own: new generation without touching the roof, shade for the vehicles, and charging wired in beneath.
Connection headroom.
We model the fleet’s draw against your supply capacity, and use storage and scheduling to stay inside it — often avoiding a costly DNO upgrade entirely.
Questions
The questions asked before adding EV charging.
Can EV chargers run from our solar and battery system?
Yes — that’s the point of designing them together. Chargers draw from your own generation and stored energy first, and with Nova AI+ the charging schedule shifts automatically into the cheapest windows.
What is a solar carport?
A canopy structure over parking bays with solar panels as the roof — generation from land you already own, shade for the vehicles beneath, and a natural home for EV charging points.
Will fleet charging overload our supply?
Not if it’s designed properly. We model your connection capacity against the fleet’s charging profile, and use battery storage and smart scheduling to keep the site inside its limits — often avoiding a connection upgrade entirely.
Do you handle the grid side?
Yes — load assessments, DNO notifications and any supply works are part of the design, the same as on every Novalux system.
