How Novalux Solar Limited collects, uses and protects your personal data. Last updated September 2026.

Who we are

Novalux Solar Limited ("Novalux", "we") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Blackbrook Estate, Skenfrith, Monmouthshire NP7 8UB · [email protected] · 01600 213 213.

What we collect

When you request a quote, use the cost calculator, or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number, and information about your site and energy use (such as consumption data or bills you choose to share). If you are a customer, your project portal holds your project documents, quotes and site media.

If you accept cookies in our banner, we also collect standard analytics data — pages visited, approximate location, device type — through Google Analytics, and advertising data through Google Ads, including remarketing (showing Novalux ads on other websites to people who have visited this one). If you decline, no advertising or analytics cookies are set.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and proposals, deliver and support your project, and meet our legal obligations. The lawful bases are: taking steps to enter a contract with you, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and consent where we ask for it (for example, marketing emails — which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

Your data is processed by the service providers who run our systems: our CRM (where enquiries and quotes are managed), our website hosting provider, and Google (analytics and advertising measurement). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Customer project data is kept for the life of your system relationship with us and as required for warranty, tax and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
